Welcome

Trader Joes favorites

Hi everyone!

If you enjoy a long walk down the grocery store aisle like myself, then you’re in for a treat! I had never been to Trader Joes until one blogger, @katiesbliss on Instagram, started doing the most interesting Instagram stories about TJs. When I finally started bringing my car to campus, I ventured out to find some of her picks, and I am so glad I did. The store is honestly so overwhelming and having recommendations from others to base your grocery haul off of is handy. Here is a comprehensive review of everything I like to buy from TJs. Note- most of these fall into the snack category. A lot of other bloggers, like Katies Bliss do hauls featuring meal-specific buys!

Perfect bars- everyone I get to try one of these instantly falls in love. They are so good that I could eat them like a candy bar. I eat one before or after barre usually, and my favorite flavor is coconut peanut butter. They are usually 1.99 at TJs compared to 2.50 at Publix, and there is a pretty good selection of flavors (Fresh Market has the biggest pick of flavors ever).

Dark chocolate covered almonds with sea salt and turbinado sugar- these are to die for!! So good and so low calorie. They are in the freezer aisle with the rest of the treats.

Neapolitan JoJos- these are like chocolate, vanilla and strawberry oreos! So good. They are one of my most recent finds (recommended by a fellow TJ obsessed coworker), but I can already tell I am going to pick them up regularly.

Toscano black pepper cheese- this is in the fancy cheese section, and it is so good! All my roommates loved it so I can definitely say it’s a crowd favorite. It goes well on the pita crackers, but I wouldn’t say these are a TJs must have.

Produce- TJs has a really produce section, and everything is so cheap! I am always amazed when I leave with a bag full of fresh goodies and it’s way less than it would be at a normal grocery store.

Everything but the bagel seasoning- this is so good! I put it on avocado toast, regular toast with butter and I have seen some recipes for it with chicken on Pinterest! One bottle of it lasts forever.

That’s it for today! I may possibly do one in a few months when I am cooking more meals rather than whipping up snacks like I do now!

Almost 21 days of time moving my body with this community! Doesn’t even capture the enjoyable hours spent at book clubs, special events, working play lounge years ago, all the things 🧡

Couldn’t let this accomplishment pass without a spot on the feed! I’m so thankful for this community and the lifelong friendships I’ve created out of it.
