I am SO excited to finally share wedding photos with you all. I got more than 1,300 back from my photographer, so I want to break them up in an order that makes it easier to look through all of them. Today I want to share everything I wore on the day of the wedding because that’s what I have had the most questions about.
I found these adorable pajamas months before the wedding, but I just knew I had to have them for the night before wedding day and for wearing after the wedding! They unfortunately don’t sell these anywhere anymore, but here is my sleep mask that my mom got for me from one of my favorite stores for wedding items. I also brought the sleep mask with me on the plane for the honeymoon.
Let’s start with getting ready photos. I didn’t exactly know what I wanted to wear for getting ready the day of the wedding, but something made me know I didn’t really want a robe. I wanted to be completely comfortable and not have to be worried about sitting any which way. I remembered Hayley Paige selling getting ready outfits, but I thought it was only fun dresses. I checked the website anyways, and I found they actually have the cutest short and top sets. They had a sale going on so I ordered it immediately. I love this because I can wear it as pajamas or loungewear because it’s really silky on the inside. Here is the link to my outfit, but I also wanted to mention they have different phrases for bridesmaids which would be really cute.
After getting ready, it was time to put on my dream dress. I found my dress at Kindred Bridal in the Knoxville Old City, and I know I will look back on it with the fondest memories for the rest of my life. It was the perfect dress for me, and I felt like it embodied my personality on the best day of my life in the perfect way. Madeline at Kindred was so intentional with her advice and information. The dress and skirt are Karen Willis Holmes, and my veil was made by my seamstress. My earrings are Untamed Petals, ordered through Kindred.
My skirt came off for our photos downtown and the reception! I loved the idea of having two different dresses, but I didn’t want to spend that much or only spend a few minutes in the ceremony dress. This was the perfect solution for me!
I go back and forth between loving the dress with the skirt or without- I think I am tied honestly! Thanks for reading this post, and stay tuned for my next wedding post featuring all our incredible vendors!
