Hi friends!! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I had an amazing time styling outfits for the Banana Republic Factory event- you can see all about it on my instagram (@classicallygrace) if you missed my outfits and all the fun!
Today I wanted to share my three favorite verses for the season of life many college students are going through right now- final exams. For us in college, this is really the last hurdle before enjoying Christmas with our families, but I wanted to encourage positive energy and appreciation for this hectic time.
Did I just say “appreciation” for finals time? YES!! I am a huge believer in remembering to savor every season of life as God call us to do. Every year around this time, I try to remind myself not to think things like “Oh, as soon as finals are over I can finally be happy again.” If I let myself get bummed, that would be two weeks of serious sadness, on top of dealing with important exams. Having a better mindset to take on finals is truly the best preparation you can do- okay, maybe besides actually studying.
Here are the verses I will be repeating over the next week!
“There is a timeA)” data-cr=”#cen-NIV-17361A” style=”box-sizing: border-box;”> for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens..” + Ecclesiastes 3:1
– I love, love this verse. It is one I am reminded most often of in my daily walk with Christ. There is a season (and reason) for every activity under the heavens! How amazing is that to remember?
“…We know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” + Romans 8:28
– Remembering that the grades you have and the hours it takes to study for them ultimately work together for good is so comforting.
“He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.” + Psalm 1:3
– We have been working all semester towards these tests. God has purpose for this season- we might not know exactly why God sees us struggling in biology now, but I promise there will be a time when we will prosper because of the work we are putting in now. Finals are just the stream we have been planted by right now.
I hope one of these helped prepare your heart and mind for finals season. I wish everyone the best grades and the best Christmas break!
