Hello Saturday morning! When this post goes live, I will most likely still be resting from the time of my life at the Taylor Swift concert. I am so excited for the concert! I might be able to do a post about it! This morning I am going to share another batch of lovely finds!
Gal Meets Glam Dress Collection
Way before I started thinking about starting a blog, I became an avid blog reader. I check a handful of my favorite blogs every day to read their new content, and it has seriously changed the way I feel inspired about everyday tasks. When one of my long time favorites, Julia, launched her own dress collection from her Gal Meets Glam blog, I was so excited! I haven’t purchased one of the dresses yet, but I am going to as soon as the occasion arises! I love seeing her new designs and reading about the dresses from other blogs, like Carly’s here.
Right before I left for Italy, I found Ben Howard and became obsessed! Seriously. I listened to his music every time I was on a train to somewhere in Italy, and I have to say, it was pretty magical. I put “Old Pine” as the background song on all of my Italy videos, and I am really happy with the vibe the song gives the videos! He just put out a new album, and it is so good. Here is an example of a video I did with his song.
I accidentally came across this video on Vogue’s Youtube channel when I was browsing the other day. I loved experiencing the Palio so much, and the contrada that was shown winning in the end was actually the one I got to tour with my group. If you are interested in learning more about the Palio, I have a blog post all about it!
My favorite ice cream in the entire world is finally opening back up its downtown Knoxville location!!! YAY!!!! For all my East Tennessee people out there, go as soon as they open! It is my favorite treat for any time of year, and I couldn’t be more thrilled its going to be closer than ever to UT campus. For months, me and all my fellow Cruze lovers have been driving out to Asbury, TN for this delicious ice cream. They also opened up a pizza restaurant down there, which makes it extra worth the drive. Even though I love the other location, I am looking forward to grabbing a quick calf size cone before heading to the movies!
