Daily Harvest Review + Discount Code

Daily Harvest Review

I’m so excited to bring a Daily Harvest Review and discount code to the blog today!

It’s been a busy season for everyone. With the world opening up again and many of us trying to make up for a lot of lost time, our good eating-at-home habits we built up during quarantine have basically went out the door.

All that to say, it’s been a lot harder to put something healthy on the table for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Luckily enough, we stumbled across Daily Harvest and haven’t looked back!

To sum up Daily Harvest, imagine having thoughtful, nutritious, clean and delicious smoothies and meals made with real fruits and vegetables within reach at all times- perfect right? The smoothies and meals are all plant-based, gluten-free and dairy-free, all while tasting incredibly yummy and fresh.

I love that these are frozen and I don’t have to worry about the exact day I need to prepare them by, and this allows Daily Harvest to make sure the nutrients and textures are the highest quality.

Once you start perusing the offerings, I think you will be as surprised as I was by the seriously unique flavor pairings. There are sooo many interesting options, but you honestly can’t go wrong with anything!

Daily Harvest Smoothies

Ah, is there anything more refreshing than a yummy smoothie? I’ve tried the Mango + Papaya, Acai + Cherry, and the Cold Brew + Cacao. They are all so good and fit the bill when I need something incredibly quick that I can even take on the go. Once you start exploring the smoothies, you will have an endless amount of flavors on your must-try list!

It’s so nice to have something light to reach for instead of the heavier stuff we usually have in our pantry for lunch.

I always want to make bright and nutritious smoothies, but gathering all the unique ingredients from all across the place isn’t easy. Having all the ingredients ready to pop in the blender takes all the hassle and guesswork out of these yummy smoothies!

Flatbreads

Daily Harvest Flatbreads

Daily Harvest BowlThese flatbreads are so fresh and delicious. For pizza to be one of my favorite foods of all time, and I can confidently say this flatbread hits the spot when I am craving pizza!

The Daily Harvest flatbreads are incredibly easy. You just preheat the oven to 450 degrees, then bake for 20-25 minutes on a baking sheet. They seriously make lunch so easy and taste like you just got it from a restaurant.

This is the number one thing I want to get more flavors of in my next box. The tomato and basil was so good, and it will definitely have to be in my next box!

When I just really need something healthy and quick for lunch, these daily harvest bowls are the answer. I love that I don’t have to sacrifice on freshness with this frozen option.

You can prepare these in the microwave or on the stove top, and I think they would be really handy for keeping in the freezer at work for emergencies! We made ours in the microwave, and it couldn’t have been easier.

If you want to make the bowl a little heartier, you can top them with eggs, chicken, tofu or anything else you want or have on hand. We love doing this to get even more protein out of our meal.

Scoops Ice Cream

Scoops
This ice cream is so unexpectedly good. I never expected a non-dairy ice cream to be so rich and delicious, but this one is seriously next level. The Chocolate + Ooey Gooey Midnight fudge is amazing, and I can’t wait to try all the other flavors.

Soup

Daily Harvest Soup

We tried a Daily Harvest soup for the first time, and I am now obsessed with the tomato + zucchini minestrone. It’s one of my favorites- make sure to try it with chicken or veggie broth instead of just water. We also love the butternut squash and rosemary soup, it’s really the perfect winter comfort meal.

If you’ve been wanting to give Daily Harvest a try, I think this is a great time to invest in yourself and your sanity through these meals. Haha, that may sounds dramatic, but the smoothies and meals have saved me so many times when I want a healthy meal that doesn’t take me so long to make.

Don’t forget to use my code ‘LORENG’ for up to $40 off your first Daily Harvest box! You can also go straight through this link to get the deal. I hope this Daily Harvest review was helpful and you love Daily Harvest as much as I do.

Thanks to Daily Harvest for sending me this box and inviting me to join their Tastemakers program!

Ingredients:
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons), or more if you like it super tart!
- ¾ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice
- Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:
In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and the sugar. Heat over medium, stirring until sugar is completely dissolved to make a simple syrup. My grandma just put the sugar directly into the lemonade which was so delish! But I played around with doing this and think it incorporates really well.

Let cool, then mix with lemon juice and remaining 3 cups of cold water. Optional! The tiniest dash of vanilla extract and very thinly sliced lemons.

Taste and adjust sugar or water if needed.

Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices.

I also made her brown butter broccolini from the same cookbook. Delish!
