Welcome to another Friday Five! It’s been a minute since my last one, but I like to wait for inspiration to strike instead of just forcing one out every single week. Here’s a few things on my radar lately that I want you to know about!
Also, before we get into this post, one of my big obsessions this week is the olympics, but I don’t really have anything to link there. Just wanted to say I’m obsessed!
ONE // Fran Accardio Monthly Backgrounds
I’ve followed Fran for years and years, but I’ve finally just gotten in to the monthly mood boards that she posts. I’m linking February’s here, but go back to her site each month for a new, on theme board. I love these and feel so inspired looking at it.
TWO // Robert Pattinson for GQ
I’m actually obsessed with Robert Pattinson and his career. It always seems like he’s everywhere and nowhere all at once, and he just has this constant presence of aloofness to everything he does. This interview was one of the more authentic and open conversations I’ve seen from him in quite a long time, and it just really struck me that he actually seems to care a lot more about his career and his projects than he lets on. It is long, but if you have an unhealthy obsession with him like I do, I think you’ll like it.
Also, he mentions his girlfriend (Suki Waterhouse) twice and that he’ll eventually have kids one day, which is just so uncharacteristically personal for him.
THREE // Book to Screen Adaptations
Our podcast episode a few weeks ago was all about books, upcoming book to screen releases, etc., and I found so many great articles with all the info for upcoming book to screen adaptations. This one got me really excited for all the movies and TV shows based on books to come this year.
FOUR // Scrunchie Wrist Towels
Jaci Marie Smith shared these scrunchie wrist towels on her TikTok a few weeks ago, and I can’t get over how GENIUS they are. There are few things I despise more than the feeling of water running down your arms or pajamas sleeves when washing my face. Ordering asap!
FIVE // Coconut Margarita Recipe
Ahh the weather is definitely warming up here in California faster than I’m used to – it’s been in the high 70s here! Which means, it’s the perfect time to start thinking about warm weather drinks. I’m never going to say no to a margarita, but this coconut margarita recipe just sounds next level. I sent this link to Preston as soon as I read it on Grace’s site- hopefully he gets the hint haha.
