Shoes for Spring

Shoes for Spring

Shop this post:

one // two // three // four // five // six (and bottom ones) // seven // eight

There’s nothing like the weather warming up outside, getting your first pedicure of the season and realizing all your spring and summer and warm weather shoes are completely worn out! I found myself in this exact scenario just a few week ago and have been window shopping (and actually shopping) for shoes ever since. I already own some of these shoes for spring, but I am eyeing most of these! If I have them, I will make sure to tell you just why I think you need them for spring below.

One // Casual Green Sandals

These are really similar to the ever-popular Teva sandals. I’ve been eyeing a pair of those for years, but ultimately I’m worried that I wouldn’t get my money’s worth out of it. These would be a good compromise until I figure out if the style works for me or not! I also can’t pass up much of anything that comes in green.

Two // Heeled + Braided Sandals

I love these so much! I don’t know that I will find the occasion to wear something like this very often, but I can just see them going with almost every dress in my closet.

Three // Espadrille Wedges

I just ordered these as I’m writing this! I have a flatter pair of shoes exactly like this that are about to fall apart, and I know this brand is the highest quality, so I’m looking forward to having a not beaten up pair again finally.

Four // Neutral Tennis Shoes

You can never have too many pair of cute tennies. I absolutely love wearing these with everything from active wear to jeans and sweatshirts! I usually have to make myself wear something else because it’s just too easy to reach for something like this.

Five // Easy Pink Sneakers

Like I said, never too many cute sneakers. I love the flat platform on these, and they look like they would be easy to slip on.

Six // Ruched Slides+ Woven Slides

These are included together here, but I know it’s finally time to try out the slide trend. I’m sort of worried they will slide off my feet too easily or not be very comfortable, but I manage my mules fine enough!

Seven // Espadrille, tie wedges

There’s a full review of these on my blog, so I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to urge anyone needing something like this to scoop these up! I absolutely love these and get a ton of use out of them in the spring and summer. These just scream spring shoes to me. They were actually really comfortable from the very first wear- make sure to check out that review to learn everything there is to know about these.

Eight // Pink Vejas

I also have a full review of Veja sneakers on my blog, and these are my most worn shoes of all time. I live in a really mild climate, so these work for me all year round, but I would never hesitate to include these in a spring shoes roundup. The review goes into more detail, but these wear so well even after I beat them up almost every single day. I love this light pink shade for spring!

Ingredients:
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons), or more if you like it super tart!
- ¾ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice
- Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:
In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and the sugar. Heat over medium, stirring until sugar is completely dissolved to make a simple syrup. My grandma just put the sugar directly into the lemonade which was so delish! But I played around with doing this and think it incorporates really well.

Let cool, then mix with lemon juice and remaining 3 cups of cold water. Optional! The tiniest dash of vanilla extract and very thinly sliced lemons.

Taste and adjust sugar or water if needed.

Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices.

I also made her brown butter broccolini from the same cookbook. Delish!
