Welcome

Fall Date Night for Less

October 26, 2020

featured-image

It might seem weird to post about date night on a Monday, but Preston and I actually had a terrific Tuesday date night last week, and there were a couple of notes I wanted to share about it. Preston texted me a screenshot of the open evening reservation times at Emilia around lunch time on Tuesday, and asked me to pick my preference (love him so much!). It was such a surprise and a fun treat. We have both wanted to go forever, and I was talking about it again the previous weekend- so sweet that he was paying attention and took action!

I forgot to wear mascara somehow on this day- if my eyes look a little sleep that’s why haha

I haven’t worn riding boots in YEARS. I think they’re coming back in style a little bit though? I like it! I just need to break these in, I have to admit I have blisters from wearing them just a few hours!

It’s pretty hard to get a reservation at Emilia on the weekend, but it turns out a Tuesday is pretty good!

It actually lined up perfectly, because I had previously seen @girlseatknox share the $10 spaghetti and meatballs special Emilia has each Tuesday, and it looked so good I would have ordered it as a special or not. I think this is such a good thing to know, because we could basically eat here for just around $25, which is pretty great for a special night and a nice dinner.

We also stopped at Cruze Farm to share a calf size pumpkin ice cream, it was so good!

My sweater was also a “special,” at just $32! I think it looks and feels like way higher quality than a $30 sweater typically is. I do highly recommend sizing down at least one size!

Shop the rest of my outfit here: Hat (similar), sweater (exact), jeans (similar), boots (similar), earrings (similar)
