Welcome

Barrington Gifts Up To 20% Off

September 4, 2020

I have been a fan of Barrington Gifts for years, but I didn’t become obsessed until I started using my St. Anne Zippered Tote I was gifted for Christmas last year. Since taking that bag as my Honeymoon carry on, using it every single day for errands and work and even taking it out on date nights, I am a full-fledge Barrington convert. I follow their Instagram diligently and am always dreaming about all the bags I would design.

I first heard about the brand through Kate from Lonestar Southern, and I just loved the way she styled the classic bags and fit them seamlessly into her lifestyle. I also think it’s so neat that Kate works with Barrington- talk about my dream collaboration (Kate was also featured in Southern Living Magazine *eeeek!*). She regularly shares bags she designs just for fun, things she is eyeing, her most recent purchase, etc., and while I have just the one Barrington Tote, I wanted to provide a little more detail and background here.

My tote

As I said earlier, my mom and dad gifted me the St. Anne Zippered tote with my married monogram for Christmas last year. I absolutely love it, and even though it’s a darker fabric, I definitely wear it all year round. I designed the bag with my love and green (also my wedding color!) as the inspiration, and the blue just adds a nice pop in my opinion. I personally love the zippered option of this tote because I think it just makes sense, especially if you’re in a bigger city or travel to one often.

The tote itself is so roomy. I can fit a water bottle, laptop, book, notebook, planner, sunglasses, wallet, keys- the list goes on and on honestly. It can just be your everything bag!

Is it worth the investment?

I am not going to glaze over it- these bags are expensive. They’re definitely on the higher price range of a tote bag, but it’s honestly an investment and the bags will last for years, still looking impeccable. I also think the leather trim and handles just get better with age.

I think if you have this in the budget, really want to save for one, or have a generous gift opportunity coming up, it’s worth it. Do you *need* this to make you happy in life? No! I certainly feel happier when I see my favorite color with my new monogram all the time, but I don’t think anyone should ever spend money you don’t have on something you don’t need at the end of the day.

The sale is currently 15% off any purchase and 20% off any purchase more than $250 with the code ‘FUNINTHESUN’! That definitely helps. Also, I feel it’s important to mention they don’t give out discount codes willy nilly, this is one of few times a year!

What would I get next?

Catherine Cross Body- this is probably the next Barrington Item I want to add to my collection. I have hinted to Preston several times about wanting this for Christmas, so we will see 😉

Camo St. Anne Zippered Tote- Ahh this is probably not in my near future, but it is so fun to dream!
