Ahead of Thanksgiving, I wanted to share a few of the most festive pieces I could find under $50. I’m all about dressing festively, but I don’t want to spend a million dollars on clothes you can only wear for a few weeks out of the year. I hope you find one (or a few) items in this roundup to spark some holiday joy. Read more

Kendra Scott rarely ever does sitewide sales, but they just released a 30% off sitewide sale with 25% off fine jewelry (this especially NEVER happens). Read more
Fall Date Night for Less
It might seem weird to post about date night on a Monday, but Preston and I actually had a terrific Tuesday date night last week, and there were a couple of notes I wanted to share about it. Preston texted me a screenshot of the open evening reservation times at Emilia around lunch time on Tuesday, and asked me to pick my preference (love him so much!). It was such a surprise and a fun treat. We have both wanted to go forever, and I was talking about it again the previous weekend- so sweet that he was paying attention and took action! Read more
Look For Less: Trendy Fall Shoes On A Budget
For as long as I can remember, I have been a shoe hoarder. I’ve never cared for new purses, makeup or other items nearly as much as I usually crave new shoes every year. I also hang on to my shoes FOREVER in comparison to other things in my wardrobe. The problem with this? Shoes are an expensive habit. Especially when I am constantly wanting the latest styles and variations. Read more
Sweater Weather
I’ve been eyeing so many different sweaters recently- I thought it might be helpful to round up a few of my favorites in an array of price points in case anyone else is just starting to stock up!
I have four or five sweaters I keep on a rotational basis- I usually like to wear them around three seasons before I donate. I just wear them on repeat so much I sometimes can’t think of another year of wearing it Read more
My All-Time Favorite Accessory
If you’ve been following along here for a while, you might have noticed I wear the turban-knotted headbands, like a lot. More days of the week than not, you can see me styling my headbands casually, dressed up, getting ready for bed- the list goes on! I seriously love how these headbands allow me to feel better about my hair, how I have accessorized my outfit and my overall fun in putting together outfits. Read more

What I’m Eyeing
Every year around this time, I always start itching toward fall and Christmas slowly but surely. My mom instilled a HUGE love of Christmas in me, and she also gave me the ‘gift’ love language, so we are constantly thinking about gifts to give. Consequently, my mom loves when I send her links to items I would love for Christmas early on (I started in early August!) because she would rather have a lot of things to select from and a large space of time to purchase so I am still surprised. She also does this for my Read more
Barrington Gifts Up To 20% Off
I have been a fan of Barrington Gifts for years, but I didn’t become obsessed until I started using my St. Anne Zippered Tote I was gifted for Christmas last year. Since taking that bag as my Honeymoon carry on, using it every single day for errands and work and even taking it out on date nights, I am a full-fledge Barrington convert. I follow their Instagram diligently and am always dreaming about all the bags I would design.Read more
My Thoughts on Capsule Wardrobes, What is it? Would I Start One?
I thought I had talked about the concept of capsule wardrobing on the blog before, but after it got randomly brought up when we were recording Nice to Have a Friend last week, I realized I had never broached the topic on the blog before. I’m so curious if a lot of you have heard of capsule wardrobes before, but personally I hadn’t heard of one until probably 2017 when I saw this video on Youtube (love those youtubers by the way!).Read more
