There’s nothing quite as satisfying as coordinating dishes. I just love the clean, uniform look of having all matching or coordinating cups, mugs, glasses, plates, bowls— you name it. One of the only, or maybe the only, mismatched set left in our house was our coffee mug situation. We had the customary hodge podge of travel and kitschy mugs, and it was truly causing me anxiety each time I opened our glass/mug cabinet.
This spurred me to explore a coffee mug reset. I looked all around for the perfect mug— to me, this has to mean the mug is dishwasher safe, microwave safe, easily stackable, deep enough to hold the right amount of coffee (but not too deep) and that’s about it. Sounds simple, but trying to find aesthetically pleasing mugs that met all those criteria was harder than I thought it would be.
I thought I would share all the other coffee mugs I saw while I was exploring! These are the mugs we ended up choosing. I just bought two because I wanted to try them out first, but I’m going to place an order for more today!
Some of these don’t fill all my criteria, but I know everyone has different preferences for a good mug.
These are an honorable mention. They’re technically for beer, but I think they’re even better for at-home iced coffees!
Ahh, and if you follow me on Instagram, you know we’re obsessed with these travel yeti mugs. They’re a little more pricey, but they keep your coffee SO warm without making the outside piping hot like most travel mugs. I’ll make sure to come back and update this post, because I’m hoping they will restock these on Academy soon. Fingers crossed they aren’t discontinuing.
