Gift Guide: Valentine’s Gifts *all* Categories

February 5, 2021

The giving and receiving of gifts is my love language, meaning I’m constantly on the hunt for great gifts to bestow upon countless individuals in my life. I know it’s typical to gift to your romantic partner on Valentine’s, but I actually think it’s the perfect excuse to buy something special for your girlfriends, mom or anyone else important in your life.

Once I started working on this post, it was hard to stop listing gifts! I’ve divided it up into categories to make sifting through it a little bit easier.

Gifts for your Galentines

Trader Joes Gift Card + Flowers

I was just at Trader Joe’s this past weekend and realized how many of my girl friends are just as obsessed as I am. They have the cutest gift cards (am I the only one who thinks gift card packaging makes all the difference?), and their flower section is unbelievably good. How fun would it be to receive a gift card to TJs, a beautiful bundle of flowers and maybe the mini chocolate hearts?

Sweet Treat Via Snail Mail

One of my favorite gifting items for any time of year is the tiny cupcake pack from Baked by Melissa. The 25 pack of cupcakes isn’t too unreasonable, even after shipping! Probably the same cost as paying for a small bouquet of flowers to be delivered to someone.

Charcuterie Book + Board

My friend Katie gifted me this charcuterie board book last year, and to this day it is one of my favorite gifts I’ve ever received. It is so perfect for me, and it’s always fun to change the board display for the different seasons. The Valentine’s board is out-of-this-world cute. I also think it would be fun to wrap this with a small charcuterie board. I did an entire post about fun charcuterie board supplies and good budget boards if you want to check that out!

Gifts for your Valentine

If you weren’t around during the Christmas season, I posted a pretty great (in my opinion!) men’s gift guide, and I actually think most of the items would work perfectly for Valentine’s Day. Especially anything from Herschel, this $27 hoodie Preston wears every single day and these slides. I’ll share a few extra items in case any of those aren’t hitting the mark though!

Native Map Co.

I’ve gifted these to several men in my life, and each time they’re undoubtedly happy with the gift. There are so, so many different cities and color ways to choose from— I think it would even be fun to accumulate 2-3 special cities over the course of a couple months/years and create a special meaning gallery wall.

This also doubles as a gift to yourself, it’s a “manly” piece of decor that you don’t mind hanging in your home because it’s so beautiful!

Buff City Soap Gift Card + Shower Fizz

Preston and I (and everyone we know) are obsessed with Buff City Soap. Preston specifically loves the shampoo bars, shower fizzies and soap whip. I think it might be fun to give a gift card and maybe 1-2 shower fizzies so your guy can get a taste of how good the products are, then go and pick out his own with the gift card. We used a gift card we got for Christmas to stock Preston up on his favorites.

I also linked the CUTEST valentine’s bundle they’re currently selling in store. This one might be better for your galentines, but I couldn’t help but share.

Goodie Bundle

What I personally like getting for Preston is just a roundup of goodies I know he would like, similar to a stocking at Christmas. Last year I made sure I was the last one in bed and placed the items by the coffee pot for him to find in the morning. **Preston stop reading here if you read this post! This year I already have licorice, fancier coffee beans and his favorite sour candy. I also think it would be fun to add Mike’s Hot Honey to this gift, especially if your guy likes spicy!

Great Valentine’s Day Gifts for Anyone

This is a miscellaneous category. These might be perfect for your mom, your MIL or just someone else you’d like to show extra love to, but I didn’t want to limit them by putting in a category.

A Workshop Night for 2 at AR Workshop

This would probably be on the higher end of price points, but this is a gift and experience all wrapped up in one. If you’re new around here, I am obsessed with AR Workshop, I probably go around once a month to do a new project! It’s basically a group style craft workshop perfect for girls night out. I seriously need to do an entire post dedicated to this place, but take my word for it- you’ll love it!

Book of the Month Subscription

Unfortunately, BOTM picks aren’t really geared toward guys, but if there’s another person in your life who loves reading, she’ll surely love a 3-month subscription to Book of the Month. We gifted this to Preston’s mom for Christmas, and I know a few of my friends gifted it to happy receivers as well. It’s so fun because then for a few months you can talk about the books each of you picked if you have it as well!

Packed Party Gift Bundle

Packed Party screams Valentine’s Day. Everything is just so overwhelmingly fun and bright. The gift bundles would be perfect to ship directly to your out of town friends or to surprise anyone in your life with.
