Welcome

#LTKDay and What Like.to.Know.it is

July 16, 2020

featured-image

It’s been a few weeks since my partnership with Like to Know it and rewardStyle, started, and I am so happy so many of you have been shopping and loving it! It’s really been a fun experience for me to see where you guys shop most often, what you usually online shop for, etc.

When I asked on Instagram, a majority of people knew how LTK worked, but there were a few who didn’t so I thought I would quickly capture what it is. LTK is simply a system for bloggers to share what they’re buying, where they’re shopping, what they have their eye on, etc. with their followers. This provides the exact link for those searching for something, and it also provides a small commission on sales to the blogger sharing the link- at no cost to the shopper. Whenever you shop through my LTK page or buy something from a link I send you, it’s technically an affiliate link- this means more fun content and opportunities for me and so many other content creators! Any time anyone buys something through my link, I promise you I am doing a little happy dance at my desk (dining room table, lol!).

There are two ways you can shop/support me in this-

1. Through the LTK app by purchasing a product that I share there, or

2. Messaging me through Insta, Facebook, you name it, to ask for a link! I have already had so many friends and family members shoot me a text along the lines of,”Hey can you link xyz?” Then I quickly double check if the brand is a LTK affiliate. If they are, I send them the link for the exact product they’re shopping for. I am almost always right by my computer, and the entire process usually takes less than two minutes. It’s already been a huge help in justifying the time I spend (enjoyably!) writing these blog posts and sharing my favorite products. It also allows me to buy and test more things to share with you all!

I am glad I came on to the app when I did, because this Sunday is actually #LTKDay! This means a handful of really fun brands are doing exclusive deals for LTK app users- seriously, no one else can shop the same deals! There are several brands I love and shop often so I thought I would share my picks from the #LTKDay sale event today. The sales are only on July 19, but I am going to go ahead and publish them on my LTK page so you guys can ‘favorite’ anything you might have your eye on. Don’t forget to shop these items through the app- that’s the only way the sale will be applied. On any other day, shopping through a direct link I send you will work perfectly but just not for the following brands on #LTKDay if you want the sale.

Tarte

You guys know I am not much of a makeup person, but when I absolutely have to wear makeup, it’s most likely Tarte- specifically their shape tape line. I am obsessed with my Tarte blushes, and I definitely want to try out their version of a makeup sponge. If you haven’t tried the shape tape concealer- the travel size is a great place to start! I have used the Amazonian Clay foundation, and my mom has trusted the BB cream for YEARS- we can’t break away.

Sam Edelman

I love a good, classic but trendy summer sandal, and Sam Edelman never disappoints. Their shoes have lasted me years in the past- so durable and high quality. I picked out a few fun basics that I think would really fill in the gaps in anyone’s shoe closet.

Outdoor Voices

Okay, I have never personally tried OV, but Preston and I tried going in the Nashville location last winter and couldn’t even get inside the store it was so crowded! I have heard nothing but good things, and I don’t think it goes on sale often.

There are a host of other brands a part of the sale, Abercrombie, Academy Sports, Frontgate, FRAME, Jockey, Murad, Nasty Gal, and more- if there’s a specific thing you have been eyeing at any of these stores, feel free to email me at classicallygrace@gmail.com, message me on Instagram or Facebook , and I would be more than happy to create a post for you.

Happy shopping!

Ingredients:
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons), or more if you like it super tart!
- ¾ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice
- Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:
In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and the sugar. Heat over medium, stirring until sugar is completely dissolved to make a simple syrup. My grandma just put the sugar directly into the lemonade which was so delish! But I played around with doing this and think it incorporates really well.

Let cool, then mix with lemon juice and remaining 3 cups of cold water. Optional! The tiniest dash of vanilla extract and very thinly sliced lemons.

Taste and adjust sugar or water if needed.

Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices.

I also made her brown butter broccolini from the same cookbook. Delish!
