Welcome

My bridal shower

October 22, 2019

featured-image

This past weekend, the most loving and supportive women in mine and Preston’s lives gathered together to throw a beautiful bridal brunch complete with all my favorite things. I am a huge fan of surprises, and the women kept everything a complete secret to me! Showing up to the church where the shower was held was so exciting and gave me a tiny glimpse into how I will feel walking into the venue on my wedding day. I wanted to do a complete recap of the event for the blog, partly for any shower inspiration my readers may need but mainly because I want to remember this weekend forever. As always, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me on Instagram, @classicallygrace, and I will do my very best to answer accordingly!

Keeping with the theme of all my favorite things, the shower was set as a brunch at 10:30 in the morning. This was perfect for me because brunch food is my absolute favorite, the food table was full of quiche, sausage balls, fresh fruit, coffee cake, donuts and a star guest, chicken minis from chick fil a. Added to this assortment was the most beautiful coffee bar I have ever seen! How perfect is the coffee bar sign from Zazzle? No bridal shower for me would be complete without my very favorite creamer, pumpkin spice.

I loved all the fresh floral arrangements, live pumpkins and mums, the floral hoops and the grassy letters scattered thoughtfully throughout the space. It was so nice to have varying types of greenery present. One of the real highlights was the, greenery adorned, balloon arch. My cousin Dinah is seriously so talented at making these, and this was only her first time trying. We may be looking for a way to incorporate this into the wedding, stay tuned!

My dress was from Camilyn Beth, my shoes were my go to Steve Maddens.

I have my final venue walk through tomorrow with a lot of my key wedding vendors, so I may have a new wedding update shortly! I hope you all are enjoying wedding content as much as I am enjoying writing it.
