Hi friends! I hope you’re having a great week. It got really warm over the past weekend and now it has spiked back down in the 30s. I have been studying for finals and repeating the bible verses I am living by all while being cozied up in my dorm that’s happily decorated for Christmas.
In today’s blog post I wanted to give a shoutout to all of my friends and people I am inspired by who have started incredible digital content! Each of these ladies is local to East Tennessee #statepride. Here we go!
Hannah James’ Journeys- Hannah has been one of my best and strongest friends all through college. We met during welcome week and rarely has a week passed since when we didn’t talk or hang out. We also have a lot of class together, and she always helps me resist being too uptight about school! She recently started a blog, and I know we can expect all of the travel and lifestyle inspiration. I believe at this point she has visited over 25 countries- she is my go to when it comes to travel questions! She has also been vegetarian for over a year, so some of her content might be handy for that! Definitely check out her blog and her instagram at @hannahjamese !
Honeybee Healthy– This is my friend Melissa. We have been friends for soooo long! We are both from the same tiny town, and we enjoyed many sleepovers and playdates throughout elementary and middle school. I love her and am so inspired by her health journey. She recently started @honeybeehealthy on Instagram, and I love all of her posts. They are all so informative- she is getting a degree in dietetics at MTSU, so she definitely knows her stuff. Follow her for all the health inspo you need!
c_the_beauty– Ciara is my BFFx3 forever friend. We have been best friends for almost ten years, and I love her and support her with my entire heart. She is an incredible makeup artist- truly a visionary. Her skills blow my mind, and every time she does my makeup I am obsessed and don’t want to take it off. She is a makeup artist in the East Tennessee area, and she just became board certified for esthetics. Look for her to add facials and all the skin treatment to her services soon. Even if you aren’t local you can still follow her on Insta for all the beauty inspo! Plus her personal account is all about promoting mental health which is so important and definitely something most content creators aren’t talking about right now.
Pearls and Twirls- Katie from Pearls and Twirls and owner of My Kind of Lovely is ultimate girl boss inspo!! She has been blogging for around 7 years I believe, and she has great content! My favorite aspect of Katie’s blog is the many posts she does that show you how to restyle and refresh things you already own. I think that is so so important because sometimes you just can’t buy new things you know? Her boutique is my favorite place to shop! I seriously love everything they have in stock right now. Sarah Mcaffry- Okay, I do not personally know Sarah, but she is an amazing Knoxville photographer, and she posts the best pictures and inspiration on her Instagram. I love following her so much! She also runs Statemint, which is a biannual consignment shopping event that comes to Knoxville. Sarah is a great person to follow for spiritual and homey inspiration!
That Knoxville Girl- again, I do not personally know this content creator, but I love her content! She is a must follow is you live within driving distance of Knoxville because she is always sharing services, food and special events going on around Knoxville. She shares a lot of small, local businesses, which I love!
Homesweethometn– I don’t know Brittany super well, but we are from the same small hometown which automatically means everybody knows everybody, ha! She recently started a home inspiration account, and it is all the farmhouse inspiration we are missing with the ending of Fixer Upper! Her house and Christmas decorations are serious goals, and I am so happy Brittany started the account!
