ON Tennis Shoes Review

You have more than likely seen dozens, if not hundreds of people sporting the ON tennis shoes in the past few years. These popular tennis shoes seemed to be everywhere overnight, but at $150 a pair, making the decision to actually buy yourself a pair isn’t easy.

I’ve had mine for about six months now and in almost every season of weather and usage situation imaginable, so I knew it was time to sit down and dedicate a review to these popular ON tennis shoes.

ON Tennis Shoe Styles

There are many, many styles of ON tennis shoes.I am going to go over two popular styles and go into detail about the style I have and love.

ON Cloud Running Shoe

The most common pair you probably see on a day to day basis are the On Cloud Running Shoe. This style features a lower profile around the ankle, which was actually the main reason I didn’t want this particular style of ON shoes. Something about the low profile doesn’t work for me style wise, and I actually thought one of the higher profile tops would provide better support for me in more intense activities (aka light hiking).

This is a great shoe for both athletic use and running around town on a day to day basis. Even though it’s not my personal style, these are still a great shoe, and there are so many color ways to choose from these since they are the most classic. I love the current colors available here.

I didn’t personally like the look of these, and that’s what made me opt for the ON Cloudswift Running Shoe.

ON Cloudswift Running Shoe

This is the exact pair of ON tennis shoes I have, and I couldn’t be happier with them. These are more specifically designed for running, but I’ve found them to be great on a day to day basis as well. I have taken these hiking, in the gym, on the treadmill and elliptical, and just out running errands, all with great results.

I love that these look great with leggings of any length, shorts and exercises dresses.

I’m usually a 7.5, and I had to size up to an 8 in the ON Cloudswift tennis shoes.

The other ON tennis shoe styles that are popular include the ON CloudFlow Running shoe, and I’ve also heard good things about the ON hiking shoes.

Are ON Tennis Shoes Easy to Clean?

It took me weeks to commit to a white pair of tennis shoes- I mean that’s just asking for trouble right? Well, I mistakenly wore these on a hike that was unexpectedly muddy, and I just knew they were completely ruined.

To my surprise, we were able to let them soak in warm water, then use a combo of laundry detergent and baking soda to get them looking as good as new. They dried even cleaner looking than they were wet.

The ON website does not recommend putting these tennis shoes in the washing machine, but we were able to easily hand clean them. I would definitely say these are easy to clean! I had mud absolutely caked on mine and

Do ON Tennis Shoes Fit True to Size?

In my experience, all the ON styles fit a little bit differently. Unfortunately, this means it’s sort of hard to guess on your size! I would make sure to try them on in store, order the two sizes you’re deciding between or make sure the exchange policy on the pair you order is good. I did size up in my ON Cloudswift sneakers, but I can’t say that all sizes run a little snug just because of my experience with that style.
