Welcome

Reading Lately

October 2, 2020

featured-image

A handful of my favorite bloggers publish regular roundups of the articles and news stories they’ve read lately, and I have tried to do something like this a couple times without much luck. However, I now do a news story roundup for my real job every week, and I feel better equipped to round up articles now!

I realized I had a handful of articles I wanted to share, so here we are!

Knoxville Weekend // Sunny Side Cecilia

A Birmingham blogger I’ve followed for a few months recently visited Knoxville and recapped her weekend. As a Knoxville native, I really enjoyed reading an outsider’s perspective on the city. She visited some of my favorite spots and recommended a few new! I also just noticed she has a Chattanooga recap, adding that to my reading list!

Half Baked Harvest Collection // Etsy

I was sooooo excited about this, but after looking at the $$$, I. am much less excited, ha. I just can’t justify so much for these items that aren’t absolutely essential. I do love this apron, these Christmas measuring spoons, and this salt jar. I just love Tieghan’s platform so much, if you can’t tell by now, I am a HUGE fan of HBH.

Influencer Denim Partnership // Abercrombie

A+F partnered with a handful of social media stars to design their own pair of jeans! I think this is such an amazing collaboration idea, and something I haven’t really seen before. I would love for more brand collaborations to go this direction. I personally heard about the partnership from Bre Sheppard, so I am linking her pair!

Comforting Meals // Southern Living

Honestly, I am a huge fan of comforting meals all year round. But these recipes look extra cozy! We’ll see if I can convince myself to cheat on Half Baked Harvest though….

The Try Guys BTS Experience // Youtube

My friend (and podcast cohost) Alyson has recently gotten very into BTS and Kpop. I am subscribed to “The Try Guys,” but I honestly don’t watch many of their videos. But, when this one came across my feed, I thought I would give it a shot since Alyson loves BTS so much. The video was really funny, but I am still not on the BTS train! I also love the
eat everything on the menu Try Guys videos, this recent Sonic one was SO funny.

Can you tell I am on a big blogger kick right now? Almost every single one of these articles relate in some way to a blog. I can’t help myself!

I hope you all enjoyed this type of post! I would love to do more in the future.
