Hello friends!! Today I have my sixth Saturday Spotlight post, and I couldn’t be more tickled that I am still blogging after deciding to do this several months ago!! I have never stuck with blogging for this long before. I have a few goodies in today’s post so keep reading!
Life Updates:
I have just been clicking away at my classes, and apparently I have been working faster than necessary because I found out I only need 23 more hours to graduate after this semester. I added an entrepreneurship minor to take up some more of my time!
Preston and I got fish! We are now fish parents to three tetra fish. We originally bought five, but two died from the stress of the move. We may try to get two new tetras.
I have been working with pearls and twirls on some content for her blog, and I am sooo happy because I love the time we spend together.
Favorite personal blog post: probably my pumpkin bread recipe. It was so yummy, and I loved making it with my mom!
Favorite other blogger post: Kate from a Lonestar Southern got engaged a few weeks ago, and she did a post with all the details. I love when bloggers share all the fun, little things!
What I am loving:
Melting every Sephora lipstick together
I found this video so fascinating! I don’t know what I expected the final product to look like, but it definitely wasn’t what she ended up with. I think I would actually buy the shade she makes, ha! I also just love that she went to all the effort she did for this video!
Another Youtube video for you, but this one is pretty different than lipstick. I love the try guys, and for this video they tried every item on the menu at KFC! The town KFC was founded in is really close to where I live so I always enjoy things related to the colonel. His reactions to some of the items are hilarious!
My roommate, Tessa, told me about this new TV series on NBC. I am not a fan of watching shows that are currently on television (thanks Netflix), but I decided to give this one a try and watch with her! It’s actually so good, and I think I may now be hooked. It’s about passengers on a flight that took off one day, experienced bad turbulence, and then landed five years after their departure. You can imagine all of the problems with loved ones, suspicions, and loss the plot goes through!
Just Dunkin?
Dunkin Donuts dropped the donuts and is now just “Dunkin.” I can’t believe they actually did this, and from a PR/Marketing perspective, I really wonder what data or theory made them make such a big move. If you guys have any thoughts on this, leave a comment in my most recent Insta post!
That’s all for this weekend friends!! I hope everyone is having a great, fall time!
