Mississippi pot roast is everything I need it to b

Mississippi pot roast is everything I need it to be and more! Five minutes of prep, so much flavor for so little effort, tons of leftovers that heat up or repurpose so well. What more could you want?

ingredients:
3-4 lbs chuck roast
As many pepperoncinis as you’d like + just a bit of the juice!
1 pack ranch seasoning mix
1 pack au jus seasoning mix (I can only find brown gravy mix at Whole Foods usually, maybe it’s the same thing as au jus but I’m not sure)
1/2 stick of butter

directions:
Add everything to your slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours! Some people sear the meat on all sides before putting it in the crockpot, but I have tried and don’t really think the difference in taste is worth the extra effort and dishes.

You can’t mess this up!
