I’ve recently fallen head over *heels* in love with the Soludos brand. I am so excited to finally review my pair of Soludos Classic Wedges and share a Soludos Promo Code for $15 off your first purchase of $100.

The Soludos Classic Wedges are just that- classic! I really think these shoes are timeless, as I know this style has been around for a good while now and been on trend throughout the years. Soludos caught my eye throughout the past year, and I fully decided to take the plunge when I saw that smocked, midi dresses were extremely in style this year (and hopefully for years to come!).

I had heard great things about Soludos, so my hopes were admittedly very high for these espadrille wedges. I am happy to report that I love them even more than I originally thought I would. Let’s get into everything you need to know about the Soludos Classic Wedges and a Soludos Promo Code you can use on your first purchase.

Soludos Classic Wedge Sizing Information

I had heard these ran slightly big, and the Soludos site says they also run on the slightly large site. I have just recently went from a 7 to a 7.5 in tennis shoes, but I am still usually a 7 in sandals. From this, I actually decided to go with the 7 since the site just says they run *slightly* large.

I think this was the right call, but I will say they are definitely roomier. I am pretty sure I could have also gone with the 6.5, so I would say you are safe to size down .5-1 size from your regular size.

The Difference in Soludos Classic Wedge Heights

There are three different heights for the Soludos Classic Wedge. I went with the 3.5″ wedge, and I think it’s the perfect height.

There are also offered in 2.75″ and 4″. I felt the 2.75″ weren’t close enough to traditional “heels” and wouldn’t offer as much of a dressed up look as I was wanting. If you stick to more casual looks almost always, I think you would be fine with those.

I didn’t get the 4″ because walking in heels is honestly not my strong suit. I am also already 5’8, so I don’t really need the extra inches. If you are a big fan of high heels, I think the 4″ would be great, but you should know the 3.5″ definitely fit into the high heel/wedge category. The 4″ pair are also slightly more expensive (only about $15 extra), so that’s something to consider as well.

Soludos Classic Wedge Color Options

There are currently four color options for the Soludos Classic Wedges. I have the “blush” color, but trust me when I say these are off-white and don’t have a pink tint.

If you’re looking for a pink tint, the soft pink is beautiful though! They also have a midnight blue (navy) and solid black.

Tying the Soludos Classic Wedges

Before I bought the Soludos Classic Wedges, I was most worried about tying them up my ankle. I had never before had a pair of shoes featuring that, so I just wasn’t sure how it worked.

Well, it’s much easier than I originally thought it would be! The laces are finished on the end like regular shoe laces, which definitely threw me off at first. You can’t really tell from a distance or up close though, and it doesn’t look odd in any way. This just helps me know they should last a long time!

To make sure the bow doesn’t drag to the floor, I bring the laces from the back to the front, twist them, loop them around the back, twist and tie. So, essentially they wrap twice around my ankle!

They stay up so well on my leg- surprisingly well to be honest. Sometimes I will have to retie them throughout a night of wearing them, but it’s very easy to quickly do just like retying your tennis shoe.

I think it’s most important to tie them pretty tightly the first time around so your foot isn’t slipping and sliding up and down when you walk.

Are the Soludos Classic Wedges Comfortable?

This is the most common question I get whenever I post about these wedges. I can definitely understand why that’s a worry for many, as espadrilles don’t always have the most stable reputation for comfort.

I was so pleased to experience a really comfortable wedge upon very first wear with these. I would still recommend only wearing them for a short period of time when you first get them just so you can get used to them and figure out how they best work for you, but I think most will find these really comfortable.

There are only two things to be aware of. One, the front fabric around your toes can rub against your foot slightly on the edges after a little bit, but wearing them for a short period of time a few times really helps work this out!

Second, if your feet sweat at all, you can kind of feel a burnt sensation against the bottom of your foot from it rubbing against the sole fabric. I think this is common with a lot of shoes and goes away over time, but it’s nothing crazy uncomfortable in my opinion.

I wore these a few nights ago after I had worked on my feet all day, and they were actually still comfortable even with my swollen and tired feet!

Also, the tighter you tie them, the less likely they are to bother you because you’re kind of getting a custom fit with the tie option if that makes sense.

How to Style the Soludos Classic Wedges?

I mainly started really wanting these when I first fell in love with the Hill House Nap Dress, which I have a full review and promo code for here on my blog!

These look great with smocked dresses like I said earlier, but I think they also translate really well with any kind of jeans, shorts, short dresses, skirts, you name it. They go with way more than I originally thought they would.

What Should I do if Soludos Classic Wedges are Out of Stock?

This unfortunately was the case for me for many weeks. I wanted these as a birthday present, and I had to wait many weeks after my birthday to order them because they were completely sold out in the color and height I most wanted.

I checked Nordstrom, Shopbop and a handful of other places that stock Soludos, but in my experience those places were also sold out when the main site was. I just kept checking back and signed up for the site to notify me.

I was worried they would sell out quickly from that initial restock, but as I am typing this, they are still fully in stock.

That’s it for my Soludos Classic Wedge review and promo code! I hope this post was able to answer some of your questions about these darling wedges, and I really hope you pick up a pair now too- everyone could use these in their lives!

I am really hoping to try out more of the Soludos styles because I just love these so much. I will be reporting back here if I do!
