Spring 2022 Window Shopping

February 7, 2022

Spring Shopping

Shop this post:

Okay, I’m not seriously thinking about buying most of these items, but I’ve been feeling a shopping itch in the past few weeks, and nothing scratches that faster than window shopping! Well, that and using my gift cards from Christmas. Some of these are splurges we probably won’t ever get, some are things I actually need to get for us and some are little treats I *might* pick up.

Here’s what I’m window shopping for this month.

I think I get a little more into skincare as the weather warms up for some reason! I’ve had multiple free samples of Exfolikate, and it’s sooo good. It’s also soooo expensive, haha. Also, one of my favorite bloggers (Riley Sitton) shared this Vitamin C eye cream, and it looks so luxe.

This little clip on pony tail cover is so cute and just the thing for spicing up a regular pony tail! I more often than not wear my hair in a pony tail or with a headband, so this would add some much needed variety.

GENIUS- these wrist towels are the most brilliant idea ever. I get so aggravated when water runs down my wrists when I’m washing my face or leaves my pajama sleeves soaking wet! This would save me so much aggravation!

I’ve been eyeing this Outdoor Voices set for many, many weeks. It’s just the funnest shade of green! Shop the matching top and bottom. I also have been wanting these trendy shorts since last summer, and for only $30 I think they would be a good investment.

This pink sweatshirt and these yoga pants are somewhat inspired by my new part time job- it’s basically working a little daycare for a few hours a week, and I’d love something other than tight leggings to wear when I’m playing with the kids!

Can you tell I’m looking to upgrade my athletic wear? Haha, I’ve been going to barre quite a lot so I’ve been wearing almost exclusively athletic wear. I love this leopard set! If you are also a barre fan like me, I had a recent post on what to wear for barre.

Okay, there are three splurge kitchen items on here. I actually do need to get a 9×13 pan after ours broke in our move, and I’m loving how this one comes with a matching serving tray. I’m also growing more and more obsessed with all my Le Creuset pieces, so this just feels natural haha.

These pans!!! I see them daily on Emily Mariko’s tiktok, and this color brings me so much joy. We honestly would love to upgrade our pans to something light like this.

We gave our air fryer away before we moved with plans to upgrade it, but we’ve yet to actually get one! Once every few weeks I wish we had it, so it’s about time to get it. I’m thinking an air fryer, toaster oven combo like this.

Lastly, we have completely used up our candles from Christmas, and I am itching to get another one soon! We may head into anthropologie soon to pick up a new one.

If you’ve been in one of those shopping moods that you just can’t give over to, I highly recommend window shopping or trying to use any gift cards you might have leftover from Christmas. It always helps me get over it and not think about spending money I shouldn’t!

Ingredients:
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons), or more if you like it super tart!
- ¾ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice
- Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:
In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and the sugar. Heat over medium, stirring until sugar is completely dissolved to make a simple syrup. My grandma just put the sugar directly into the lemonade which was so delish! But I played around with doing this and think it incorporates really well.

Let cool, then mix with lemon juice and remaining 3 cups of cold water. Optional! The tiniest dash of vanilla extract and very thinly sliced lemons.

Taste and adjust sugar or water if needed.

Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices.

I also made her brown butter broccolini from the same cookbook. Delish!
