Last night, Preston and I went on a lovely, spontaneous spring picnic. It was so nice. Wearing this dress also came at the perfect time for the tiny Hill House Nap Dress launch next week!
If you’re interested at all in the Hill House Nap Dress, I have a full review of the Ellie Nap Dress on my blog. It’s one of my most viewed posts, so I know you guys love this dress and company as much as I do!
We took our picnic basket someone gifted us as a wedding present to the park by our house, and it was dreamy to say the least. The park runs right along the Tennessee river, with the most beautiful sprawling grass and old trees. It’s been one of our favorite spots since we were in college together, and it’s been fun to visit in so many different seasons and seasons of life.
Enough about us, let’s talk about a great date night you might be interested in! This is definitely nothing revolutionary, but I seriously wanted this post to serve as a reminder of just how amazing outdoor picnics can be.
After you have the picnic basket, this date night is completely budget friendly. We were talking about how fun this would make a take out night or eating leftovers in our case.
We heated up the leftovers we brought back from Easter dinner with our families, grabbed two La Croix waters and headed out. With picnics, I think it’s important not to get worked up about the aesthetics of it all and just keep it simple and sweet.
