I posted the news on Instagram yesterday, but I wanted it to live permanently here too! Our December 2019 wedding was featured in this year’s issue of Tennessee Weddings, by The Pink Bride.
I had multiple of these magazines throughout the wedding process, and it’s a dream come true to be featured ourselves. I always secretly hoped we would be featured, but I never really spoke it into reality- trying not to get my hopes up.
When we got the text that we would be featured in the upcoming issue, I literally squealed. Preston was very, very excited for me, even though he really initially didn’t know what it was!
If you’re unfamiliar with the behind the scenes of this (I was!), basically your photographer, wedding planner or another major vendor, or yourself, can fill out a submission form on basically any wedding magazine’s website. It turns out, my photographer and wedding planner both submitted us for this magazine, and we found out we were featured shortly after.
My photographer submitted all the photos, and I filled out a form with all our vendors and biggest details from our day.
We are the first wedding featured, and we got a three page spread! I couldn’t be more excited or thankful for all our amazing vendors who made the day really come together exactly as we wanted it. It truly was our best day ever, and I will never stop thinking about it or looking at the photos and videos.
