The wedding is in less than 110 days. It gets more exciting and nerve wrecking with every passing moment, but I can honestly say I have never looked forward to an event more in my life. Since my last update, we have done a few things!
Wedding Dress- Ahhh, so exciting. My dress is done being altered and currently in my possession. Thinking about wearing it gives me chills! I still need to find shoes, earrings, a garter, etc! I went back and forth about doing the garter toss, but I know I want to do the bouquet toss, so it’s on the docket.
Bachelorette Party- My lovely aunt threw me the most fun bachelorette ever! It was a day and a half at the lake, and it was so perfectly me. It was slow-paced, relaxing and full of yummy food!.
Wedding Suite- In the last update I mentioned that we still needed to pick out paper samples and envelope types, but I can now say save the dates have been sent! The next step is the actual invitation process, which will be more time consuming because of the steps going into it, but I am very excited for you all to see the final result.
Guest Book- We ordered our guest book and got it in a few months ago! I love it so, so much. It’s from artifact uprising, but I will share detailed information and photos of it after the wedding.
Flower Girls- We asked the three sweetest girls we know to be our flower girls in the wedding. We aren’t have a traditional wedding party, but I knew I wanted a way to celebrate all the little gals in my life! I bought several homemade flower-shaped sugar cookies from a local woman and boxed them up with a “Will you be my flower girl?” card. They were the cutest opening them, and I can’t wait to pick out their dresses.
Vendors- We are meeting with our caterer, florist, wedding planner and venue in October to walk through everything and make sure all the fine details are in place. I am very excited for this because at the moment it’s hard to picture exactly how the day will go, where everything will be placed, etc. I still can’t picture how I want my flowers to be for the life of me! I feel like nothing will match my dress, go with the scheme, etc. But I am still on the hunt for inspiration from Pinterest and have found a few things I would like with a little tweaking.
Rehearsal Dinner- my fabulous MIL booked and is in the process of planning the rehearsal dinner. I am really happy with where it is and what the menu is going to be! I will share more when the wedding is over but want to leave it as a surprise for now.
What’s Left- My bridal shower is coming up in October. It’s crazy to think that it’s next month! I still need to find an outfit for that. I also need to find and purchase what our guests will throw when we leave the venue that night. It’s insane to think there may only be one more wedding update before the big day, but I have a feeling so much content will come after the wedding! I love, love surprises and surprising others so I am keeping as much under wraps as possible.
Thanks for following along with me as I become Mrs. Provins!
