Every year around this time, I always start itching toward fall and Christmas slowly but surely. My mom instilled a HUGE love of Christmas in me, and she also gave me the ‘gift’ love language, so we are constantly thinking about gifts to give. Consequently, my mom loves when I send her links to items I would love for Christmas early on (I started in early August!) because she would rather have a lot of things to select from and a large space of time to purchase so I am still surprised. She also does this for my brother and Preston, and I just think it’s the best idea ever. So many times I have heard people lament about not knowing what someone wants for Christmas, and if you’re going to buy the gifts anyways, it might as well be something they really want. My mom still surprises me a lot for Christmas, and she always manages to pick out the best items (benefits of having your mom as your true bff!). This method also allows me to send the items to my mom when I notice they are on sale- win, win!
I thought it would be fun today to share some of the items I have sent my mom already, in the form of another “what I’m eyeing” post- I think anyone would be justified in being confused if I were to title this post a Christmas wishlist, haha. I also want to share *now* because these things will probably be sold out before most people start buying for Christmas!
Cozy sweater– only $24.99 and the perfect dupe for the Nsale sweater everyone wanted!
Magnolia Table, Vol. 2– on sale for $13 right now!
Also, I want to mention that I think Christmas is Christmas regardless of gifts and everything else that comes with the season. I love celebrating that time of family, hope and faith and the point of me creating this Christmas wishlist is in no way intended to diminish that! I think it never hurts to hang lights, decorate the tree and go above and beyond with gift giving during this season though.
