Welcome

Window Shopping 6/28

Window Shopping

Shop this Post:

Every summer, I realize just how slim my summer wardrobe is! I have so many perfect items for fall and winter, but I feel totally uninspired in the summer. A little dose of window shopping always helps me avoid just splurging on everything though! Haha so welcome to my weekly window shopping session.

swimsuit // $125

I have one Summersalt suit already, and I’m obsessed with it! They are so flattering, and I always get tons of compliments on them. I love this one sided suit with the bow! I also need to get a two piece bathing suit because my stomach is extremely pale, but I just love the one pieces so much!

silicon baggies // $64

We had a zero waste workshop at work a few months ago, and these have been sitting in my cart ever since! They are washing machine safe, and that’s the biggest necessity for me! I need to just go for these because I know they would be worth it.

carafe // $13

How fun for guests? The top serves as a cup too so it’s 2-in-1.

hoka tennis shoes // $140

I try to always have two pairs of tennis shoes, one pair for working out and one pair for looking nice, and it’s just about time I get another pair! I love the color-way on these so much.

skort // $88

We’ve been trying to get more into pickleball this summer, and I think this skort would be absolutely perfect for that and lots of other summer outings. I want to step up my athletic wear across the board honestly.

exercise dress // $100

I have this in black (see my full review here!), and I’m absolutely obsessed. I think I need to green one, and I’ll probably size up if I do get it so it’s a little longer.

pajamas // $94

My favorite pajamas of all time (see why I think they’re worth it in this post). I don’t have a short sleeve set, but I think it would be so nice for summer. These higher neck styles are my favorite personally!

bucket hat // $49

Ahhh, I know this is beyond trendy, but something about this style specifically would work for me I think? I just think this would be so fun for summer days.

polarized sunglasses // $69

I wear the same pair of sunglasses every single day, and I think it’s time to diversify my collection. I’ve heard great things about this brand!

sandals // $85

This sandal brand seems expensive, but I’ve seen so many things about them being completely worth it. I love how simplistic they are!

pots and pans set // $395

The infamous Emily Mariko pans… These are definitely a splurge, and I will not be picking them up any time soon, but I would just love to simplify my collection of pots and pans even more and just have these!

🍋 lemonade recipe to enjoy all summer long: I 🍋 lemonade recipe to enjoy all summer long:

Ingredients:
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons), or more if you like it super tart!
- ¾ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice
- Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:
In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and the sugar. Heat over medium, stirring until sugar is completely dissolved to make a simple syrup. My grandma just put the sugar directly into the lemonade which was so delish! But I played around with doing this and think it incorporates really well.

Let cool, then mix with lemon juice and remaining 3 cups of cold water. Optional! The tiniest dash of vanilla extract and very thinly sliced lemons.

Taste and adjust sugar or water if needed.

Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices.

I also made her brown butter broccolini from the same cookbook. Delish!
