As we head into fall and winter, I knew it would be the perfect time to round up all my favorite crockpot recipes in one convenient space.
All my Instagram followers watched in horror last week as I unpacked our boxes of housewares that literally got destroyed during our move, and one of the many damaged beyond repair items was our crockpot. I previously thought crockpots would outlast the apocalypse, but apparently the end of times has nothing on UPS.
Long story short, we needed a new crockpot, and we needed it fast. People kept saying, “oh good thing Black Friday is around the corner!” and while that is handy for some items, I just don’t think I can wait on the crock pot. I love using it so much, especially now that we are both working from home and can smell it cooking all day long.

Here are my favorite crock pot recipes of all time
Loren’s Yeehaw Beer Chili
First things first, I have to share my very own recipe! What kind of blog post would it be if I didn’t have a little self promo?
This is the only recipes of my own that I’ve posted on the blog here, but it is really a good one. If Yeehaw doesn’t sell beer in your area, you can just get any kind of dunkel. I will be making this asap now that we have a crock pot.
Christmas Chocolate Peanuts
Okay, this is the last recipe of my own that I will share, I promise! I feel like a lot of us forget that the crockpot is equally as useful for dessert (I’ve also made crockpot hot chocolate in mine before but I’m still looking for the perfect recipe)
These are SO good, so easy and make so many- the perfect Christmas candy combination.
Half Baked Harvest Slow Cooker Favorites
This technically says instant pot in the title, but for most of the Half Baked Harvest meals, she provides instructions for stovetop, instant pot and slow cooker. I lean toward instant pot and slow cooker almost 99% of the time.
I’m always in the mood for chili!
Coq au vin is seriously so impressive, but I think it’s actually so easy. If you can make it in the slow cooker, even easier!
This is SO good!! It’s something so different, and we crave it all the time.
This with her homemade beer bread recipe, divine!
Preston and I are obsessed with anything mushroom related, including this hearty soup.
I think about this all the time! I’m so excited to make it now that we have our crockpot back.
More Crockpot Favorites
These meatballs are AMAZING! I love making them on cold nights or really just any time. They are incredibly easy, and it just feels like such an accomplishment to make homemade tomato sauce like that.
For a little bit of bonus material, don’t forget that you can use your crockpot to make almost anything. Baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, a pot roast that makes its own gravy, any soup you can think of, hot chocolate, wassail/apple cider, pork roast, the list goes on!
I hope this post inspired your next crockpot cooking day! I truly love using my crockpot so much, and I hope this helps you get yours out more often.
Debra
Thanks! These look delicious.
