I don’t know about you guys, but I find stocking stuffer type gifts to be the most challenging. I was glancing around #primeday this morning and noticed a lot of fun items in that price range and wanted to share in case anyone else struggles too! I will update this throughout the day as I create more, so if you don’t see the “category” of person you’re looking for, check back here. Read more
Book Club
I am so, so cheap when it comes to buying books. I’ve used the public library, borrowed from friends and peeked into little free libraries my entire life. Just something about spending $10-$20 on something I will read once seemed silly to me? I cringe when I look at the price of paperback fiction books, self help books, etc. I never read anything current because I either have to wait MONTHS to get off the waitlist for it at the library or wait until a friend offers to lend it to me randomly.Read more
Photo Diary No. 4
I love doing these style posts so much! And, to be perfectly honest they are very easy for me to whip up- aka the perfect post for the morning after I get back from a weekend in Nashville. While I would usually queue up the perfect post about my time in Nashville, my friend Skylar and I really just hung out and soaked up togetherness with our friend Kelsey. We barely took any photos but left with so many memories! Those are the best kind of trips. Read more
My 200th Blog Post
After working on some backend development pieces of a new blog layout that may or may not be coming in the near future (hehe), I realized my 200th blog post was on the horizon. Today’s post marks that milestone, and I didn’t want to let the moment pass without commemorating it. Read more
Reading Lately
A handful of my favorite bloggers publish regular roundups of the articles and news stories they’ve read lately, and I have tried to do something like this a couple times without much luck. However, I now do a news story roundup for my real job every week, and I feel better equipped to round up articles now!Read more
Trader Joe’s Fall Dessert Board
I honestly did not expect to get so much feedback on this Trader Joe’s dessert board, but after I posted it on my Instagram last week, you guys absolutely loved it! I love when you all interact with me so much, and last week’s Trader Joes shares definitely were my most interacted-with content to you guys. I was able to have so many conversations about TJs and their fall items with you all, and I am so happy we can connect through something I love!Read more
Fall Bucket List
I know absolutely everyone shares their fall bucket list, but I think that’s just because it’s so much fun to create one and share with others! In years past I have fallen into a fall comparison trap very easily- it’s easy to be envious when others get to travel far distances to see fall foliage, get the most epic shots of fall scenes or have the most trendy fall wardrobe. to complement their perfect New England weather. I try to remind myself that even those people don’t have it all together and probably feel like they miss out on some aspects of fall too! Read more
Seven Things You Need to Know Before Shopping at Trader Joes
We all know I am constantly gushing about Trader Joe’s, but I promise I do actually know that it’s not heaven on earth for everyone as it is for me! I always hear different complaints about Trader Joes from friends, and usually I am able to gift a little piece of advice that somewhat calms their Trader Joes angst. I thought it would be handy to list out my tips and tricks here so I could impart my Trader Joe’s wisdom on the world, not just my friends! Read more
Photo Diary No.3
How has it been more than a month since I did my last photo diary? Time is just going so quickly, but I feel like that always happens at the end of the year. As this is going live, we are on our way to hike in the Smoky Mountains- which we rarely ever do! I am so excited, and I am sure pictures from that trip will be in the next photo diary.Read more
Giveaway Time!
Ahhhh, I love hosting giveaways- it makes me so happy. Today’s giveaway is a Young Living diffuser and three of my most favorite essential oils! I made quick little graphics of each oil so a beginner could be a little bit more knowledgable about what these oils can do. Also, these three oils are some of the most versatile in the essential oil universe– they can be used in separately in so many ways and together as an amazing allergy relief blend that just happens to smell good too!Read more
