I got a lot of great feedback from my first photo diary, and I was so glad! I loved doing it the first time so I think I will make it a regular occurrence. I share a lot on Instagram, but sometimes there are just a few pictures I don’t feel make sense to post on Insta and deserve a little spot here. Read more
Breakfast
I have gotten noticeably more interested in breakfast over the past few weeks, and I honestly find myself surprised each day when I feel like having even a semi-time intensive morning meal. I have historically never had anything to do with cooking in the morning, my limit is usually a breakfast bar or banana- toast even felt like too much work for me. Read more
Quarantine Reads
It has seriously been so long since I did a reading recap, but to be perfectly honest, I took a lengthy break on reading. After my last semester ended abruptly, it was just hard to get in the mindset that I actually had free time. I started Good Reads at the suggestion of my friend Alyson. It would be extremely hard to even remember what I had read without the Good Reads app- I am able to easily log everything I read, start reading or want to read on there! I am going in order of most recent to least recent.Read more
Day Camping
I know “Day Camping” is probably an odd term, but Preston and I feel like that’s exactly what we did this past Saturday. We (and our newly married next door neighbors!) loaded up and drove an hour to a little spot near Preston’s house where we have camped before. The weather was supposed to be horrible, so we had cancelled our plans of spending the night, but when we woke up that morning it was the most beautiful day ever! Read more
Routine Reset
Over the past few weeks, I’ve noticed my body physically and mentally craving a change in my routine. Since quarantine started, we have went in and out of waking up at 7 or 7:30, sometimes 8. The problem was, when the alarm was set for 7:30, I would lay there for a few more minutes, then the clock seemed so close to 8, I just decided to doze around until 8. Read more
Diary
On the heels of yesterday’s inspirational blog post roundup, I decided to take a note out of Carly’s book and roundup some of the photos from my phone’s camera roll- images that I don’t really upload to Instagram but just ones that make me happy in the little moments of the day. These are some of my favorite posts Carly does, and I believe she does on every other week. Read more

I don’t know how often I will do them, but definitely let me know if you enjoy it by messaging me on Instagram (trying to get a comment section on the blog asap!). Read more
Recent Blog Posts I’ve Loved
There are some weeks when I am so in the groove on blog posts and a plethora of post ideas is always readily available in my head. Then, there are other weeks when nothing feels interesting or exciting, and I just can’t think of a single thing my readers would be interested in. Whenever this happens, I love to take a step back and read a few of my go-to favorite bloggers for a little inspiration. Read more
Back at barre3
There are only a handful of things on this Earth that make me as happy as barre3 does. Everything about the warm and inviting studio, friendly faces and happy instructors gives me SO much energy, feelings of accomplishment and overwhelming joy. I could write ten thousand love letters to this company, my specific studio and everyone who plays a part in my ability to exercise there each week, but I will try to keep this brief. Read more
How I learned cross stitch and free patterns
I’ve talked about wanting to learn cross stitching (or just pick up a new hobby in general) in a few recent posts, and I am happy to say I finally did it! My friend Alyson has been a cross stitcher for a long time, and I reached out to her to spend a day where we could just worry about nothing other than cross stitching. She quickly agreed, and we met last Friday for her to teach me and for us to stitch a little bit together. I am here to report back- it was so fun!!Read more
