Now that the wedding and honeymoon are officially over and married life is just starting, I feel like I can finally sit down and recap it all. The wedding was the best day of my entire life, and I don’t think I will ever forget one moment of it. Following our wedding, our London honeymoon was literally incredible.

Our third and final wedding shower was this past Sunday, and it was the perfect ending to these pre-wedding events! The first shower was a personal shower, the second a bridal shower (with Preston there to open gifts) and our final was a couples shower. This past weekend, the most loving and supportive women in mine and Preston’s lives gathered together to throw a beautiful bridal brunch complete with all my favorite things. I am a huge fan of surprises, and the women kept everything a complete secret to me! I recently went to a black tie optional event in celebration of the 50th anniversary of my college at UTK, and it was one of the most fun experiences ever, meaning a blog post on it was a must. Not being in a sorority and being required to attend semi and formal events twice a year, I haven’t been to a really formal event since prom in high school.
